A363 follows on from A215 in a logical way and introduces the scriptwriting medium. TMA02 is therefore an adaptation of TMA01 in the form of a script. ... Having studied A215, I was very keen to take the Advanced Creative Writing course and I am so glad that I did.

Open University. The OU’s Advanced Creative Writing (A363) course ended in May. Or was it June? I can’t remember. Either way, I couldn’t wait for it to end. You may have mistaken the lack of any A363 entries on this blog being down to me being thoroughly engrossed in the course and spending every waking minute devouring the contents of the coursebook: A Creative Writing Handbook ...


And A363 has taught me how to write plays for screen, film and stage – which I may just try one day! Oh, and how to splice the strands of a novel – which has helped me greatly with novel 1. Yes, I would 100% recommend both courses, especially as, if you do both you get a ‘Creative Writing …

 · A363 Advanced Creative Writing – EMA Gone! Final thoughts… After three evenings of read-throughs to just check grammar, spelling and punctuation, and those same three evenings actually spent changing a whole heap of words instead, I decided to upload the EMA.


I have at last opted to do A363 - Advanced Creative Writing - after a lot of dithering about other courses.. I enjoyed A215 and have dabbled with writing for more years than I can remember. I feel both excited and nervous. Essays I have conquered - for the most part.
