Started in 1993, the Geneva Writers’ Group brings together more than 200 English-language writers from some 30 countries. We welcome this diversity of cultures. What Is the Geneva Writers’ Group? Started in 1993, the Geneva Writers’ Group brings together over 240 English-language writers from 30 countries. Its objective is to encourage all forms of creative writing in English. Membership is open to all who wish to develop their creative writing skills.

Geneva′s writing bachelor's degree program prepares students for opportunities in journalism, publishing, creative writing, professional writing for business/industry and even freelance writing. The writing major is designed to develop general writing skills while still giving the student the option of emphasizing creative or informational writing for their bachelor's degree.

We run specialized writing courses for companies and individuals that allow them to communicate simply and effectively. We can help you with different styles of writing; emails, press releases, reports, websites, CVs, creative writing etc. Our writing lessons are given by our director Garry Littman who writes a regular blog for Le Temps newspaper.

The writing concentration is focused on delivering students a complement of writing classes that are comprehensive in their approach and practical for students’ careers. Students will learn feature writing, creative writing, and how to find and use relevant research.
