· like if someone was afraid or excited and their heart was pounding, what are some ways to say that? I usually just go with "heart was pounding with fear" or "so and so's heart was beating so hard it felt like it was going to break out of their ribcage." but it gets old after a while. what are some more ways? and what are some other ways to describe someone's fear?
